Consultative and information center of registration on External independent testing session in ZNU completed the main stage of the work
March 5 officially completed the main registration to participate in the sessions of the External independent testing in 2014. We remind that from January 8 till yesterday, staff of Consultative and information center of registration on the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University provided advice to anyone who is planning to participate in the External independent testing. During this time, assistance in registration of documents required for inclusion in the list of participants this year's EIT, asked around 2500 students from the city and region.
By 19 March everyone can make changes to documents or change their choice about subjects of which want to make tests, provided that the time to register until 5 March inclusive. Therefore, experts of ZNU continues to provide advisory assistance and information regarding registration of required documents to future entrants.
According to Head of the Preparatory Department, associate professor Iryna Bakalenko, who led the work item, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Educational Quality Assessment has brought the total number of registered at the moment of this year's entrants. Currently in Zaporizhzhya region 9974 people expressed their desire to participate in the External independent testing, and in Zaporizhzhya - 4019 potential participants of this year's EIT.
As for the number of students who choose to take advantage of Consultative and information center of registration on the basis of ZNU, it is difficult to determine the exact number: during the work of the center, nearly 2 500 people came to our university to get advice about a complex issue related with registration for EIT, or just make sure that they are properly collected and arranged the necessary documents. In addition, a significant number of students asked for help over the phone or through a specialized group in a social network "VKontakte". All are fully received the necessary information from experts of consultation centers. In particular, ZNU entrants advised what to do in cases when entrant lost passport or certificate not issued in time due to him for ages, document certifying his personality, is a citizen of another country, etc.
According to Iryna Mykolaivna, this has significantly increased the number of people who volunteered to personally benefit from Consultative and information center of registration on the basis of ZNU. Some prospective entrants from other areas in our region here on Saturday and Sunday, when point of is not officially working. Unfortunately, like last year, some entrants put off the collection package required for participation in EIT documents in the last days, so in the penultimate day, our university center staff provided consultations to 19.30.
Iryna Mykolaivna also noted that the entrants who have applied to the employee of Consultative and information center, vocational work was carried out: they were told what certificates are required for entry into certain specialties reminded of the part in the free trial EIT that every Sunday in March held on the basis of ZNU etc.
