In ZNU to the post of Vice-Rector for Educational Research and Academic Affairs appointed professor Oleksandr Hura

In Zaporizhzhya National University introduced a new Vice-Rector for Educational Research and Academic Affairs - Ed.D., professor Oleksandr Ivanovych Hura.

Sphere of scientific interests of Oleksandr Ivanovych - professional pedagogics, occupational psychology, organizational psychology.
The experience of his professional pedagogical activity in higher educational institutions - 21 years. In 2001, at the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University he defended his thesis on "Pedagogical conditions of the professional skills of social pedagogue" on specialty 13.00.05 - "Social Pedagogics".
Dissertation for the degree of Ed.D. on "Theoretical and methodological basis for the formation of psychological and pedagogical competence of higher educational institution teacher, in terms of the magistracy" (specialty 13.00.04 - "Theory and methods of professional education"), defended at the Institute of Higher Education of the NAPS of Ukraine in 2008.
The results of scientific and pedagogical activities of Oleksandr Ivanovych reflected in nearly 100 scientific and educational works, including - 6 books and 2 educational and methodological manuals approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Hura managed research work of postgraduate students and doctoral candidates. At present, under his guidance 6 theses for the degree of Ph.D. in Pedagogics.
Decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in 2007, he was awarded with the title of "Honored Educational Worker of Ukraine". Also his pedagogical activity was awarded with Honorary Diploma of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration.
