March 15 on the basis of College of Economics and Law of ZNU were held just two Olympiads - IV All-Ukrainian Olympiad in the Ukrainian language and VI All-Ukrainian Olympiad on mathematics among students of higher educational institutions of I-II accreditation levels of Zaporizhzhya and Zaporizhzhya region. Program of measures were envisaged grand opening and implementation of tasks by students as well - meeting of sections of educational institutions teachers-participants.
The grand opening of the event was held in the hall of 3rd academic building of ZNU. Those present on it – First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Bondar, Director of ELC Olena Hrybanova, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics Serhii Homeniuk and 
Deputy Head of Zaporizhzhya methodological association of teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature universities of 1st-2nd levels of accreditation, Head of the jury of the regional stage of IV All-Ukrainian Olympiad in the Ukrainian language Zinaida Skliarenko – welcomed the participants and wished success to contestants.
Thanks to victories, gained by college students (Olha Popova, Karolina Dolia and others) in Olympiads of the Ukrainian language, computer science and mathematics last year, the College of Economics and Law of ZNU at this time acquired the right to host the regional rounds of Ukrainian subject Olympiads for students of 1st and 2nd levels of accreditation on its basis.
The participants of Regional stage of the Olympiad in the Ukrainian language were 18 students and on mathematics - 15 university students of 1st- 2nd levels of accreditation of Zaporizhzhya region.
On results of the jury's work, the winners of the regional stage of IV All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Ukrainian language became:
1st place – Sofiia Pshenychna (KE "Berdyansk Medical College" ZRA);
2nd place – Roksolana Vereshchaha (Orikhiv Agricultural College);
3rd place – Dmytro Stoliarenko (aporozhye aviation college named after Ivchenko).
The Selection Committee of the regional stage of VI All-Ukrainian Olympiad on mathematics led teacher of ELC Nataliia Kalashnikova. The winners of the next stage of the Olympiad were:
1st place – Vladyslav Svistelnik (ELC, ZNU, 1st year, "Software Development");
2nd place – Vlas Krusir (Zaporizhzhya Electrical and Engineering College of ZNTU);
3rd place – Denys Podanenko (Zaporizhzhya College of Radio Electronics).
In the section of the literature was attended by teachers the Ukrainian language and literature, as well as students of 1st-2nd years of ELC. They listen to a report of cyclic commission chairman of the Ukrainian language 
Nataliya Trush of activities carried out within a week of the Ukrainian language and literature at the College of Economics and Law (November, 2013), and in March 2014, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko. Also, teachers have the opportunity to listen and discuss previous reports that students are prepared to participate in the ELC Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Young Science - 2014".
At the same time of the meeting took place sections of mathematics. Those present in it teachers paid attention to the discussion of problems that arise during the preparation for the state final certification on mathematics in 2014.
