March 17, in Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University launched a traditional annual scientific conference of students and young scientists "Young Science 2014". The conference will be held in the college of ten sessions. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee - responsible for the scientific work of ELC, college teacher Maksym Nosyk.
On the first day of the conference their reports and scientific developments presented to members section of mathematical disciplines. In the section's work took part 8 students of 1st-4th years of ELC. The host of the event and Head of the Section of mathematical disciplines became teacher of the highest category Nataliia Kalashnikova. She welcomed the participants, outlined the work schedule and noted that the activities of every person in any case requires mathematical knowledge, therefore, not surprising that the section of mathematical disciplines attended by students of various specialties of ELC.
Reports of young scientists concerned highly relevant issues and topics of interest to disclose. For example, 1st year student of a specialty "Jurisprudence" Yehor Ulchenko conducted own investigation of practical applications of mathematics in law - namely, while protecting the client's interests in the commercial processes. On the application of mathematical methods in criminological examination said present at the event 1st year student of a specialty "Jurisprudence" Daryna Shuryha. In turn, 1st year student of a specialty "Social Services" Albina Shvets made a presentation on "Mathematical modeling of social processes".
4th year student of the specialty "Software Development" Anastasiia Deputat interested audience in her work on "The mysterious world of numbers", who told the story of the origin and use of numbers and their importance and role in society.
On the influence of feeling on the number of mathematical abilities conference participants told 1st year student of a specialty "Publishing and Editing" Dmytro Kovalov, and 2nd year student of the specialty "Finance and Credit" Karolina Dolia made a presentation on the use of matrices in economics.
Great interest in the audience were the reports of 1st year students of the specialty "Finance and Credit" Sofiia Yakymenko "Paradoxes in mathematics" and Kseniia Syromlia "Golden cross section - a universal constant of the world".
According to the jury the best presentations were selected works of Anastasiia Deputat and Daryna Shuryha. Investigation of student Karolina Dolia will be recommended for publication in the collection of scientific works of students and young scientists "Young Science". It was also decided to mark with diplomas Yehor Ulchenko, Dmytro Kovalov and Sofiia Yakymenko for active participation in the mathematical disciplines section.
