March 25 in the College of Economics and Law of Zaporizhzhya National University under the VI scientific and practical conference of students and young Scientists "Young Science 2014" was held a working meeting of the natural sciences section.
It was attended by Director of College Olena Hrybanova, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Maksym Nosyk, 17 college students, 2 masters of the Faculty of Physics - Maksym Hvozdetskyi and Oleksandr Bulakh, and college teachers. The section headed teacher of the highest category of biology and chemistry Olha Uchuyeva.
At the meeting were presented the research in physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, and astronomy, which concerned the important and urgent environmental problems of Zaporizhzhya including air pollution by transport emissions, new technologies, energy saving, the use and production of alternative wind energy and bioenergy.
1st year student of the specialty "Jurisprudence" Daryna Shuryha has produced an interesting and unusual video presentation on the problems of smoking as a consequence of social ignorance of the population. The purpose of this report was to introduce harmful chemicals found in cigarettes and pose a threat to life and health. Results of the study showed that the problem is still relevant today, despite the prohibition on smoking in public places, anti-advertising of tobacco.
In turn, Director of Economics and Law College Olena Hrybanova thanked the students for their active participation in the conference, their public life position and interest of a healthy lifestyle topics. According to Olena Yevgeniyivna, high level and depth of research papers is the first step to writing future course and diploma papers.
Particular attention is attracted audience research project on the content of food additives in food industry and their impact on the human body, designed by a student Olena Shvets.
The results of the best sections in the field of "Physics" was chosen as the winner of the report of the Regional Mathematics Olympiad, student of specialty "Software Development" Vladyslav Svistielnik. In the field of "Chemistry" were recognized the best works of Hanna Muzychuk ("Chemistry of intoxication"), Khrystyna Mkhitarian ("Chemical elements in the human body. Their role and function"), Olena Shvets ("Food additives") and Daryna Shuryha ("Smoking as a social a phenomenon uninformed population"). In the field of "Ecology" was marked the work of Khrystyna Dolia "Features of air pollution by transport emissions in Zaporizhzhya".
The most successful presentation was recognized the student's work of Oleksandra Shkuropat "Extracting energy from biological objects".
