March 25 students of the Law Faculty of ZNU had the opportunity to meet with representatives of AIESEC in Zaporizhzhya, a Japanese Shynya Morimoto. This meeting was held in cooperation with the Faculty of Law AIESEC organization to raise awareness of Law Students for International Law, History of State and Law of foreign countries (for example, Japan) and improving the level of English proficiency. Law Faculty supports an increasing level of foreign languages skills by students, proclaimed by the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov.
Guest communicated with students in English. It should be noted that during this meeting, the audience did not have a language barrier, because a sufficient number of students have understood the content of the report and found it necessary to express their opinions. This indicates a high level of English proficiency among Law Faculty students. So there is nothing to prevent them to discuss the specifics of the legal system in Japan, including the system of government in this country, the mechanisms of its interaction with the public methods of the rule of law, human and civil rights, especially law enforcement, prosecutorial oversight and operation of the judicial system in this distant country.
Students, in particular Mykyta Zhukov, Daria Stepanchenko, Yuliia Chernova, Kateryna Hrytsenko, Oleksii Renhevych and others were active in the discussion and asked various questions to Shyny Morimoto.
