April 10 at the sanatorium-dispensary of Zaporizhzhya National University was held Donor Day. The event was organized by the Department of educational work of ZNU in collaboration with Zaporizhzhya regional station of blood transfusion.
A large number of students and teachers expressed a desire to join this noble cause. According to Head of Department of Educational Work of ZNU Svitlana Kondratenko, total, the action was attended by about 130 people. Some 
students who also wanted to take part in the action, was denied because of health. Most of those who came to the point of blood sampling at the sanatorium-dispensary of our university, more than a year are involved in this case. They are guided exclusively charitable beliefs and the ability to save someone life. Also Svitlana Viktorivna said that such events for our university is traditional. She expressed the hope that in the future will increase the activity of students, and thanked all who responded to the invitation and came to Donor Day.
Results were collected about 30 liters of blood. Half of the collected blood will be passed on to students and staff, and the other part - to Zaporizhzhya Regional blood transfusion station for the needs of the city of Zaporizhzhya.
