April 15 at the Faculty of Management of ZNU was held a public defense of the contest entries of the finalists for gifted youth "Business Initiative". The purpose of the contest - to identify and support youth - future entrepreneurs who are able to implement new ideas in various fields of business and develop their business to facilitate economic development of Zaporizhzhya region and the country as a whole.
At the beginning of scientific event to participants with words of congratulations addressed Dean of the Faculty of Management Iryna Shavkun. Iryna Hryhorivna told the audience about the history of the Faculty, including that in Zaporizhzhya region first began to train specialists in the field of management precisely in Zaporizhzhya 
National University in 1993. In 1998, our university, again first in the region made a set of managers masters. Iryna Shavkun described the creation and the competition, saying: «Geography of the contest - took part in it pupils not only from Zaporizhzhya region, but also from other regions of Ukraine - evidence of its relevance and prospects». She also described the preparation of specialists which carries out Faculty of Management, and invited all participants to study at Zaporizhzhya National University. Iryna Hryhorivna on behalf of the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov expressed words of gratitude to the participants and their supervisors for their active participation and wished them a successful defense of their scientific developments.
The contest was presented 30 works, of which the public defense during 
the last stage was selected 5 best. The finalists presented their business projects expert committee, composed of: Deputy Dean for Research, Ph.D., associate professor Oleksandr Oliinyk, Head of Department of Business Administration and Foreign Economic Activities Management, Ph.D. in Public Administration, master МВА IAL CHISL Damir Bikulov and Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor of the same Department Anna Chkan.
As a result of protection Contest Committee selected the winners of "Business Initiatives". They are:
- Anastasiia Vukolova (pupil of Zaporizhzhya gymnasium № 31) with work on "Organization of internal tourism in Zaporizhzhya region»;
- Yuliia Katsel (pupil of Novovasylivka TEC "Harmoniia"), who presented her scientific exploration on "Business plan of mini-bakery".
Young scientists presented their business calculations. Yeah, Anastasiia Vukolova developed and presented a tourist tour to reserve "Kamyana Mohyla", where she will act as a guide. In order to attract foreign tourists Anastasiia has created two tour options - in Ukrainian and English.
Yuliia Katsel, in turn, developed a business plan for a mini-bakery, which counted all economic nuances ranging from the quality of the used flour and ending with the employee's salary. Reports of the participants were accompanied by a video presentation.
Yuliia Katsel and Anastasiia Vukolova received cash prizes and certificates of winners signed by the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov. Scientific supervisors of girls were awarded with diplomas.
All participants and their supervisors in memory received gifts and certificates of participants.
At the end of the event the members of the Organizing Committee expressed some words of gratitude to teachers under the guidance of talented students are preparing their contest works and wish inspiration and success in their research activities.
