On April 17, Zaporizhzhya National University, was elected Chairman of the Students' Council of 3rd hostel. The event was attended by Rector’s Assistant on Educational Work Nataliya Voronova, Head of the educational work Svitlana Kondratenko and leading specialist of educational work Tetiana Balaniuk.
Their candidacy for the position put forward 4th year student of the Faculty of Mathematics Vitalii Kinchak, which at the time of the elections served as Head of Students' Council of the hostel, and student of 2nd year of Mathematics Faculty Rodion Popov.
Elections attended 62 students, two representatives from each block of the hostel.
Started meeting Rector’s Assistant on Educational Work Nataliya Voronova, who, on behalf of the university administration handed Vitalii Kinchak gratitude for his fruitful work for two years as a Head of the Students' Council 3rd hostel, and wished him to continue to be an example of the order in a hostel.
Following the approval of the regulations and the agenda was held by candidates who highlighted the main points of their programs and answered questions from the audience.
Vitalii Kinchak reported to students on his activities in office, made mention of the main problems in the hostel of cultural events, cleaning and monitoring of it.
An alternative candidate to the post of the Head of Students' Council of the hostel Rodion Popov in his speech suggested possible measures to improve living conditions in the hostel. He also spoke about his team of associates and friends, and told about the main points of his election program. Students are very keenly discussed his candidacy and asked him many questions.
According to the results of a secret ballot for Vitalii Kinchak their votes gave 38 students, for Rodion Popov - 19, even five of those present did not support any of the candidates. Thus Vitalii Kinchak was elected for a second term.
The newly elected Head of the Students' Council of the hostel № 3 thanked for the trust and support of the members of his team, and he vowed to work for the students to make every effort to make student life more rich and interesting ideas to implement mates for improving living conditions and the organization of mass cultural measures. In addition, he suggested to Rodion Popov head the post of his deputy.
