In ZNU recently finished competition of a mini-soccer Rector's Cup, which brought together teams of Faculties of ZNU and Economics and Law College. A peculiar result of these traditional events become the friendly match between the football teams of the Faculty of Physical Education and students' team of ZNU, that was held 7 May in sports and recreation complex of our university.
During the tournament for the Cup of the Rector of ZNU each Faculty team consisted of professional players - the students of the Faculty of Physical Education.
On the eve of the Victory Day was decided to hold a competition between two teams - the team of ZNU and the team of the Faculty of Physical Education. Sporting honor upheld the last members of the professional team of mini-football "Hope of ZNU".
Organized by the management of sports and recreation complex of ZNU. Opening the competition, Director of sports and recreation complex Mykhailo Protas congratulated the players and spectators, as well as wished a successful game to football players. Football referee of the meeting was coach of the team "Hope of ZNU" Yurii Aristenko and representative of Zaporizhzhya regional football federation Oleksandr Husiev.
Two halves determined the outcome of the unofficial meeting of mini-football. A bit of a slow start the first half however once showed the power of football professionals. Sports fervor gradually began to gain momentum, and team players of ZNU, in turn, began to exert resistance, protecting against opponents of their gates. They were supported by fans who cheered their Faculty representatives with loud exclamations and applause. But fortune was originally on the side of the Faculty of Physical Education students. They won the meeting, which completed with a score of 7:4.
Sports fervor and desire to win sportsmen of both teams were awarded with sweet prizes.
