Representatives of the Faculty of Law of ZNU took part in public discussion of the local government reform concept
May 29 scientists of the Faculty of Law of ZNU took an active part in public discussion of the concept reform of local self-government and territorial organization of power in Ukraine, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine April 1, 2014 № 333. Meeting of thematic roundtables were held at the hospital № 7 of Zaporizhzhya and in Zhovtnevyi district state administration in Zaporizhzhya.
The event participants, which was held on the basis of district administration have also become members of the Center for training and retraining of civil servants, local government officials, members of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council, scientists of Classic Private University staff of utility companies of Zaporizhzhya, etc.
Between the participants were held lively discussions on the future model of legal fixing of power decentralization, reform of public authorities in the field, the powers of government offices, material and financial basis of local self-government and separation of powers delegated and other proposals for amending the Constitution of Ukraine.
Following the event, participants prepared a number of proposals on specification, improvements, additions to the Constitution, proposals for amending the Constitution of Ukraine.
