At the Faculty of Management of ZNU reviewed the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine"
June 2 at the Faculty of Management of Zaporizhzhya National University was held a public discussion of the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine".
This is the second event organized to explain to students and teachers of the Faculty of Management of all changes planned to make to the Constitution of Ukraine.
The roundtable was attended by Deputy Dean, associate professor Andrii Kurhuzov, and teachers of the Department of Business Communication – Liudmyla Kompaniiets, Olha Yudina and Kateryna Kalinina.
In addition, the event was attended by expert on the law – Ph.D. in Law, assistant professor of the Department of Constitutional and Labour Law of the Faculty of Law Serhii Omelianchyk.
During the meeting Serhii Omelianchyk explained all the changes planned to bring to the Constitution of Ukraine. In particular, Article 81 of the new Constitution of Ukraine planned to remove 6 points - "no entry deputy of Ukraine elected from a political party (electoral bloc of political parties), the faction of a political party (electoral bloc of political parties) or the deputy of Ukraine with this faction". According to Serhii Omelianchyk, this solution guarantees more rights and freedoms of the people's deputies. Previously head of the party was able to influence the decisions of MPs belonging to the faction of the party, threatening the exception and termination of deputies, with the abolition of paragraph 6 of Article 81 of the Constitution of Ukraine MP has to vote according to their views, no guided by any instructions from above. In the case of his exclusion from the political party he can go to another or become unaffiliated deputy. Representatives of the Faculty of Management of ZNU noted that this change has very positive impact on the state system of Ukraine.
At the end of the event representatives of the Faculty of Management thanked Serhii Omelianchyk for clarifying all the obscure points extended the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine". Also Andrii Kurhuzov noted that the Faculty of Management this week will be held to discuss amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine among students and teachers of the Faculty, during which proposals will be formed to draft amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine.
