June 13 with the participation of the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov, the administration and the teaching staff of our university, the NGO "Zaporizhzhya vector" and the Charity Fund "Fund of good deeds" in the face of Chairman, First Vice-Rector of ZNTU Volodymyr Prushkivskyi was a solemn opening of the first bicycle parking.
The event also attended by Vice-Rector for Educational Research and Academic Affairs Oleksandr Hura, Acting Rector’s Assistant on Public Relations and Media Halyna Mykytiv, Head of the Department of Educational Work Svitlana Kondratenko, Students' Government representatives and local media.
Creating a bicycle parking lot at our university was made possible through close collaboration of ZNU with NGO "Zaporizhzhya 
vector" and the Charity Fund "Fund of good deeds". Earlier this bicycle parking has been fitted in the territory of Zaporizhzhya National Technical University.
Welcoming holiday guests, the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov said that the initiative of establishing bicycle parking belongs to our Students' Government representatives during 
regular meeting with the Rector suggested the idea to young people had the opportunity to more actively engage in sports to come to the university on the bike and during training to keep trucks on campus. Also, Mykola Frolov thanked charities to support this initiative and help in its implementation.
Volodymyr Prushkivskyi, in turn, stressed that it is important today is to support young people in its quest for a healthy lifestyle and exercise. He expressed hope that in the future there will be new on the territory of Zaporizhzhya
bicycle parking, and representatives of the "Zaporizhzhya vector" and the Charity Fund "Fund of good deeds" in this project will be supported by the government of the city and the region.
Gratitude expressed by representatives of the students' body – Head of the Students' Council of ZNU Olha Lebedeva and Head of the Students' Council of ELC of ZNU Vladyslav Kondratenko.
