21 and 22 June on the Khortytsya island 200 best region students participated in the most awaited event of the year - "Zaporizhzhya Students' Republic 2014", during which the student was elected the new power in the region represented by the first deputy chairman of the Students' Council of ZNU, 4th year student of the Faculty of Law of ZNU Anatolii Shashkov.
Representatives of Students' Council of ZNU sincerely welcomed Anatolii Shashkov on his election as the new students' mayor and wish him inspiration and conquer new heights. In addition, they thanked the representatives of all universities that participated in the "Students' Republic 2014" and organizers of the event, and expressed willingness to continue active cooperation with the the Ukrainian Youth NGO "Students' Republic".
International program "Students' Republic" - the biggest event for Ukrainian students who collects the maximum number of young leaders from all over Ukraine. The theme of this year's festival at the regional level has been declared "The new regional model (in your region)". According to organizers, the key principles of this model should be: simplicity, comfort, responsibility, honesty, transparency and maximum efficiency. 
During the scheduled program, participants took part in the "Quest festival", "Photo-quest", "Water battle", "Mr. Students' Republic", "Cup of CWC", volleyball, incredible sub-fest. They also had the opportunity to put their ideas in plenary, to extend the range of interesting acquaintances, get a lot of positive emotions, to realize their own projects, work in teams with the best experts and intellectuals of the area and build a "New Regional Model of Zaporizhzhya", showing a new vision of our region.
