On the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University held an extra session of EIT-2014 for persons with a valid reason failed to make independent external evaluation during the main session and entrants who live in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and AR Crimea.
From 1 to 15 July, the participants were tests of 11 subjects: geography, physics, mathematics, chemistry, Ukrainian language and literature, Russian and foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish), world literature, the history of Ukraine and world history and Biology . For almost 20 days, entrants, who passed an additional session EIT free of charge living in hostels of ZNU.
Testing took place at the 2nd academic building of Zaporizhzhya National University. To participate in additional session of EIT to Zaporizhzhya, school graduates came from Donetsk, Mariupol, Siversk, Harcizk, Makiyivka (Donetsk region), Stakhanov (Luhansk region), ARC and other cities and towns. In general, the Odessa and Zaporizhzhya region an additional session of EIT was approximately 4.5 thousand people, of which more than 3,5 thousand tested on various subjects on the basis of ZNU. The experience of previous years, a large number of them will become our university entrants.
Responsible for testing points at Zaporizhzhya National University, Head of the Preparatory Department of ZNU Iryna Bakalenko noted: «ZNU testing point has become one of the main points of External independent testing in Zaporizhzhya, which visited the largest number of the extra session EIT's participants. To test was involved a significant classroom foundation. Almost every day for the location EIT participants were allocated 25-30 audience (15 people each). Thus, participation in testing in geography were about 430 persons, physics - 367, the Ukrainian language and literature - 337, on the history of Ukraine - 300, while the maximum rate for the entire period of the extra session of external independent testing, entrants' knowledge came in testing biology - 450 participants. Entrants and persons accompanying them, were given places in hostels of Zaporizhzhya National University».
ZNU testing point during 1-15 July visited authorized representatives of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment – Olena Babkova, Larysa Sur, Svitlana Pavlova, Evelina Lukianchuk and Mykola Naumenko, and also Public observer from NGO-network "OPORA" Lesia Korotchenko.
Before assembling each subject, participants were instructed with the rules of the EIT and the behavior of participants during testing. On the stands near the 2nd academic building of Zaporizhzhya National University entrants were able to see the list and check the audience in which they will take the test. At 10:15 a.m. EIT members went to the trunk and took their seats in the classroom, where there was another briefing. Testing started at 11:00 a.m.
Notably, members of Zaporizhzhya National University have created all necessary conditions for successful entrants passing the extra session EIT. During testing prior academic building work information point EIT and advisory center where entrants were able to obtain detailed information on the conditions of testing, and the rules for admission to the various Faculties of our university and college and so on. On the official website of ZNU anyone could read the information on the conditions and schedule an additional session of EIT, EIT point placement schemes and urban routes, etc.
For an additional session of EIT on the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University established a working group led by the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov. Summing up its work Mykola Frolov noted: «The entire staff of our university reacted responsibly to fulfill this important task. Coordinated work of university experts contributed to the successful conduct of additional session EIT. This suggests that in difficult times for our country shows the highest Ukrainian national and moral values, unity and willingness to jointly take any political and social challenges of our time».
Public observer from NGO-network "OPORA" Lesia Korotchenko noted the high level of testing at Zaporizhzhya National University and professionalism of those responsible for its implementation. «As this is an additional EIT, – noted Lesia Korotchenko, – the only possible problem was the delay test participants, but such cases on the basis of ZNU are not registered. It became possible due the coordinated work of experts of ZNU, including responsible for testing points in ZNU, Head of the Preparatory Department Iryna Bakalenko. At the time of EIT passing were not found misconduct, or delays, or lack of necessary documents, etc.».

Маріуполь), (Mariupol), who visited ZNU to support her granddaughter: «We are pleasantly surprised by the level of carrying out tests in Zaporizhzhya National University. Most of Luhansk and Donetsk entrants expressed a desire to enter the university of their region. However, given the difficult situation in these regions of Ukraine, many of them have decided to do it to Zaporizhzhya National University.
