From 1 to 21 July at the sanatorium-dispensary of ZNU on the island Khortytsya worked a summer children's health recreation camp "Khortytsya Sich-2014". For assistance in carrying out its the Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov thanked the President of NGO "Ukrainian Federation "Spas" Oleksandr Prytula.
During camp kids doing morning exercises every day in the picturesque corners of Khortytsya island doing dressage horse, throwing knives, spears, archery, fencing layouts Cossack cavalry, arm combat. Throughout the time the organizers arranged for the children constantly varied excursions, meetings with interesting personalities, contests, quizzes, workshops and sports, talks about the Ukrainian national culture, traditions and rituals Cossacks, historical figures, patriotism, honor, respect for elders.
The event was organized by representatives of the All-Ukrainian public organization "Ukrainian Federation "Spas", of Zaporizhzhya Regional Federation Cossack martial art of "Spas", junior school Cossack martial art of "Spas", the NGO "Southeastern Center for Social Partnership" of Zaporizhzhya National University and National reserve "Khortytsya".
