Teacher of the Faculty of Foreign Languages trained at the University of Paul Verlaine (France)

With the support of the leadership of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Dean of the Faculty Halyna Moroshkina and active cooperation of the Department of Romance Philology with the Embassy of France in Ukraine, assistant professor of the Department of Teaching Second Language Maryna Trofymenko, was able to go through professional training «Cours de Didactique du Français Langue Etrangère» for French teachers from Ukraine to Paul Verlaine's University in the city of Metz, France (Université de Paul Verlain-Metz, Lorrain).

Over two weeks passed and shared fruitful exchange of work with an experienced professional methods of teaching French as a foreign lecturers between the University of Paul Verlaine and teachers from all regions of Ukraine (Zaporizhzhya National University, Chernivtsi National University named after Yuriy Fedkovych, NPU named after M.P. Drahomanov, Lviv National University named after I. Franko, Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under MFA of Ukraine, others).
While on probation of Ukrainian universities were invited to a reception at the Official mayor's office of Mets had an opportunity to chat with leading specialists, visiting local museums, theatrical performances, musical concerts and other educational and cultural measures the region Lorraine.
French community is very interested and is indifferent to everything that is taking place in Ukraine. Thus, a regional journalism newspaper "Le Républicain lorrain" took an interview of all teachers from different parts of our country, to give an objective view of the situation to the French society.
All participants of this training showed a desire to continue the cooperation of Ukrainian universities with the University of Paul Verlaine under this annual professional exchange program and shared an obtaining experience with their colleagues in Ukraine.
