Prospects for cooperation of scientists and representatives of the economic sector participants discussed in the international roundtable of ZNU
September 19 in Zaporizhzhya National University was held a meeting of the 3rd International roundtable "Integration of Education, Science and Business". Took part in it the representatives of Ukrainian and foreign universities, Heads of state and public institutions and organizations, entrepreneurs and students.
The organizers of another international roundtable on economic issues by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, Zaporizhzhya National University, Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Union of Economists.
The main objective of the participants in this large-scale event was to discuss the pressing issues of economic development, economic security and growth prospects of our country. During the meeting, representatives of science and business exchanged ideas and discussed the possibility of joint projects in the areas of technology transfer and innovation.
During the roundtable speakers analyzed the economic situation in Zaporizhzhya region and in Ukraine, presented the results activity of their institutions and businesses and proposed measures for cooperation between different sectors of the economy, to improve the efficiency of economic activity. So, professor Alla Cherep made a presentation "New institutions implementing innovation as a tool for integration of education, science and business." In her speech, she noted that Ukrainian society at the present stage of its development requires the creation of new institutions that would facilitate the implementation of innovative implemented to the development of business and economic sector. They have become so-called "Industrial parks". Their positive and effective impact today show countries such as China and Turkey, whose economy is developing rapidly. On the territory of Zaporizhzhya region for ZRSA initiatives launched a similar project involving scientists of ZNU. Its implementation should help restore aluminum production in Zaporizhzhya region, creating favorable conditions for investment in mechanical engineering, etc.
During the meeting, presentations and proposals were also made by representatives of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU, Zaporizhzhya universities and enterprises. As a result of joint cooperation of scientists and business concept was developed, aimed at developing a common strategy for cooperation in various sectors of economic activities in order to promote investment, introduction of innovative technologies in production and job creation, and therefore - economic growth of Zaporizhzhya region and Ukraine.
