September 19 at the Faculty of Law was held a regular meeting of scientific research problem students' group. This time the attention of students curious was the legal regulation of wind energy in Ukraine. Despite the fact that wind power is a relatively new industry, but its growth rate in Ukraine is constantly accelerating, especially in active search and resource use of alternative (renewable) energy sources.
Students not only analyzed the regulatory framework of wind energy in Ukraine, including those identified in numerous regulatory legal acts, but also features the practice of the relevant legislation, gaps, conflicts of appropriate regulation. Students with teachers tried to prove the expediency of further intensive development of wind power industry in Ukraine, offered their own recommendations for possible improvement of the legal principles of proper energy sector, including in the form of specific recommendations on amendments and supplements to the Law of Ukraine "On Electric Power Industry", "On Alternative Energy Sources", "Earth Energy and Legal Regime for Special Areas of Energy Facilities". Upcoming special attention paid to the issue and the coordination of national legislation with the relevant provisions of the EU.
Following the meeting summarized the ratio of the change in the law submitted to the Parliament Committee of Ukraine, the relevant central authorities for their consideration in the law-making process in the country.
