To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the start of the professional training of lawyers in Zaporizhzhya region and opening of the Department of Law on the basis of our university students and staff of the Faculty of Law held a visiting session of the round table on "Current Problems of training of legal personnel who specialize in the field of customs".
The meeting was held in. Dnepropetrovsk, the event was attended by the Faculty of Law of ZNU, students and staff of the Academy of Customs Service of Ukraine. Of particular interest for future lawyers raised questions of specialization training of legal personnel on the the basis of specialized universities and teaching the customs and legal disciplines in the classical universities.
Employees of the department of public service and customs of the Academy highlighted the main issues of organizational methods of the educational process of training future lawyers to the case, summarized the experience of national universities on the subject, shared information about the experience of foreign universities to prepare future professionals for customs, which received during the foreign training.
ZNU representatives proposed model enhanced optional training future lawyers on customs and legal issues (increasing the number of courses, diversifying learning, etc.) based on classical universities.
Interest of roundtable participants called statements of representatives of the Department of Customs and Maritime Law National University "Odessa Law Academy" with a focus on long experience in training of relevant personnel, review of teaching literature, prepared by the Department representatives.
Participants identified the need for increased cooperation and classic specialized universities to prepare future lawyers for the sphere of customs, borrowing positive experience for the mutual exchange of teachers and students, best practices, joint online classes.
