On October 1, data of student tickets at railway ticket offices will be checked in United State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE) of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. MES encourages students to check their own data in the system.
Now discount fare will receive only those students in higher education I-IV accreditation levels, the data of which listed in United State Electronic Database on Education. A registration of preferential travel in intercity trains will be for students, only if the numbers of student ID and name of the student, which is mentioned in the ticket, match with the information in the electronic database of MES. After testing the new electronic database at railway ticket offices, students can purchase discounted tickets through the online system.
MES encourages students to check their own data on the availability of student tickets in the electronic database. In case of absence these data, it is necessary to contact the university administration.
