8 November in Zaporizhzhya National University started workshop from the Goethe Institute for German teachers. To improve qualification expressed a desire 22 teachers of Zaporizhzhya, Melitopol and from Donetsk, Khartsizsk, Dzerzhinsk and Kramatorsk. For five days they study on the latest teaching methods and Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Educational workshops are regularly held at the Faculty of Foreign Languages Zaporizhzhya National University, enjoyed significant popularity among teachers, not only in our region but also neighboring areas. Some of them several years attending such classes, trying to learn more about how new methods of teaching foreign languages, and ways of preparing students to undergo testing, as well as successful participation in competitions at various levels. This is - compelling evidence of a high level of professional skills of our teachers and faculty staff willingness to collaborate productively with mid-level education.
It is this thesis guided by representatives of the German educational institution Goethe Institute, which has offices in many countries, for the election of Zaporizhzhya National University basis for this year's five-day teacher workshop. By the way, the Goethe Institute in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (according to the Memorandum of Cooperation from 28.10.2013) For the second consecutive year, the every region of Ukraine, in cooperation with local institutes of postgraduate education, the following methodological and didactic activities.
For five days the teachers participating in the workshop will be to discuss with colleagues, discuss important theoretical problems, perform practical tasks. They also develop fragments of their studies with students based on newly acquired knowledge for future use in their work. These are the tasks set before them the organizers of the event, which aims to see the provision of a German teacher of new ideas and stimuli for the present practically-oriented training. Together they will consider issues such as the criteria for productive modern foreign language lessons, techniques methodological and didactic principles in teaching German as a foreign language, the principles of effective structuring classes, including - the principle of active learning. The participants also learn about the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and that teachers should be aware that their students can pass the international exams of Goethe-Institut.
