In ZNU was held the first scientific readings dedicated to the memory of Professor Volodymyr Tykhomyrov
March 5 at the Faculty of Philology of Zaporizhzhya National Universitywas held the first academic reading between universities "Actual problems of comparative studies" devoted to the anniversary of the birth of professor of Russian Philology of ZNU, Doctor of Philology Volodymyr Tykhomyrov, who passed away on November 29, 2013.
Research interests of Volodymyr Mykolaiovych was the XIX century history of literature and comparative studies problem, which is reflected in numerous scientific works of professor. It is not surprising that this very subject and devoted the first Tyhomyrivski Interuniversity Scientific Readings.
Tyhomyrivski Readings continued reading at the Philological Faculty of ZNU by meetings of three sections - the comparative study in Slavic and foreign literature, as well as in the field of linguistics and methods of teaching of philological subjects. They were attended around 40 scientists of ZNU, CPU, ZNTU, Zaporizhzhya State Medical University and Renaissance Studies Laboratories.
