April 10 at the Law Faculty was held a roundtable discussion on "Actual Problems of Retirement Insurance Reform in Ukraine" with the teacher of Constitutional and Labour Law Department, PhD in Law, Associate Professor Nataliya Verlos and 4th year students.
The roundtable discussion began with introductory speech teacher, who said that in a market transformation was needed in the formation of innovative organizational and economic principles of pension guaranteeing citizens retirement compensation for lost earnings in the form of an adequate pension. The reform of the pension system - a complex and comprehensive process that affects all areas of social, economic and political life.
Within the roundtable discussion participants will discuss aspects of the legal regulation of pensions, the problems associated with the operation of the pension system in Ukraine and possible solutions to these problems. The initial step should be the creation of a strong legal framework that will protect and guarantee future retirees and all participants of pension reform and a shift from solidarity pension system to private pensions.
Holding such events gives an opportunity to discuss problems of scientific level of pensions in Ukraine and promotes digestion of material on the subject "The right of social protection".
