The 3rd year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Zaporizhzhya National University in June will work on a volunteer basis in summer language camps of Zaporizhzhya. The initiative of this honorable mission belongs to Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and organizer of the project stands in Zaporizhzhya Department of Education and Science of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration in cooperation with communal institution "Zaporizhzhya regional center of tourism and study of local lore of students" of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council. Yesterday, May 25, at the faculty held methodical seminar where students acquainted with their future responsibilities and received useful information on the organization of language classes for students.
In the
beginning of the event with a welcoming speech addressed to the audience
Vice-Rector for Educational Research and Academic Affairs Oleksandr Hura. He thanked the students of the faculty who decided to take part in a volunteer project and wished them success and noted that the leadership of ZNU and teaching staff of the faculty will provide all necessary support for students volunteers.
With words of gratitude addressed to future volunteers also Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Halyna Moroshkina. She noted that the faculty took part firstly in such actions, so fot the project selected an active students of the faculty, who have demonstrated their abilities in the city volunteer and 
university events, and have a high level of success in education.
According to Halyna Fedorivna, volunteer work involved 30 students of the faculty. They were divided into two groups. The first - will work in summer language camps in the territory of Zaporszhzhya schools, and the second - in the language school expedition "The way to Europe" (tourist recreation center "Dniprianka" in Zaporizhzhya), which organizes for children communal institution "Zaporizhzhya regional center of tourism and study of local lore student youth" of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council.
Head of the communal institution "Zaporizhzhya regional center of tourism and study of local lore student youth" of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council Tetiana Mytrofanova noted, that every student will work with 6 pupils. In total planned to organize four arrivals in June, each of which will have three or four groups of children. of ZNU Students will be provided with everything necessary for living and for hours of language practice with students. As a result of students work they will receive certificates of volunteers and deputy heads of clubs.
associate professor of the Department of Teaching Second Language of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of ZNU Olha Kanibolotska, Methodists of Foreign Languages Center Varvara Petrosova and Rashel Faria held a methodical seminar for students about using of various modern audiovisual techniques at foreign language lessons.
