Zaporizhzhya regional karate Championship (SKIF version) was held on January 19 at ZSU (sport building). More than one hundred fifty sportsmen from seven clubs and schools were contending for prizes. The following sportsmen were the best in “personal kata” category in corresponding age groups – Roman Mihailenko, Anatoly Mihailenko and Olga Galinei. In “team kata” champion’s title was won by Shotokan karate-do school trio – Anton Viter, Roman and Ruslan Mihailenko. Thus were defined the members of a team that will partake in the Championship of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Student Games.
