Youth karate-do shotokan (SKIF version) Ukrainian championship took place in Kyiv on March 22. More than 200 sportsmen partook in the championship. Zaporizhzhya regional team won 5 gold medals (2 of them belong to the representatives of our University: personal kata of ZSU SC instructor Roman Mikhailenko and team kata of Anton Winter, Roman and Ruslan Mikhailenko’s trio), 3 silver medals (among them the kumite of ZSU entrant Irina Maikova and ZSU student of the Faculty of Foreign Philology Iana Titova) and 2 bronze awards.
