December 1 the world celebrates World AIDS Day. Traditionally, the first day of winter are worldwide action to support programs to prevent the spread of AIDS. So the initiative of activists of the student council at the Economics Faculty of ZNU held awareness-raising and charitable action "Protect Your Future". Its main goal was to attract the attention of young people to the problem of HIV / AIDS, the formation of knowledge about HIV / AIDS and promote HIV risk reduction, tolerance towards people with HIV education and desire to follow the rules of a healthy lifestyle.
The event was organized and conducted by representatives of the student council of the faculty. So, a big break students of 1st-2nd years of the Faculty of Economics in order to draw attention to the problems of HIV / AIDS, organized a flash mob dance in white coats. In addition, the students were given this action symbolic red ribbons, condoms and brochures with information on the origin and spread of HIV, its signs and symptoms, ways of transmission and ways of preventing the spread of this dangerous disease. Organizers noted that many students both economic and other departments (legal and historical) wished to participate in this action.
AIDS - is one of the most important and tragic problems encountered mankind late XX century. Ukraine is the leader in Europe for the spread of HIV. Experts estimate UNAIDS, in Ukraine with HIV live to 270 thousand people. Only every second knows about his or her diagnosis.
