On December 8 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of ZNU the presentation of the strategy of implementation of gender equality and non-discrimination in the field "Education: the gender dimension - 2020", which soon plans to introduce in Ukraine under the implementation of gender policy.
The main purpose of this strategy, as defined participants, is to ensure comprehensive implementation of the policy of gender equality and non-discrimination in the system of education, which will bring it into compliance with international democratic indicators.
The relevance of such a policy has been repeatedly mentioned during various special events. Its main provisions were backed by legislation, which mentioned and during the meeting, including: the Law of Ukraine "On ensuring equal rights and opportunities for men and women" (2006), order "On introduction of gender equality in education" (2009). The order of MES of Ukraine № 713 dated July 3 2015 "On creation of a working group on gender equality policy and the fight against discrimination in education".
Organizers and participants also thanked all activists for the hard work in the field of conscious gender-sensitive space that corresponds to the European standard of living and thinking.
