The first university entrant’s Day was held this year at Zaporizhzhya National University on October 17.
The future university entrants were met at 10:00 a.m. by instructors and students of classic university at festively decorated assembly hall. ZNU rector Sergij Tymchenko addressed guests with his speech of welcome. He presented university deputy rectors to entrants and their parents and paid attention to questions of university entering. Rector pointed out that the rules of admission to higher educational establishments are not prepared yet by Ministry of education, but the program won’t be changed much. Responsible secretary of admission committee, Viktor Tkachenko, explained in details rules of application of documents for entering ZNU. Iryna Bakalenko, dean of ZNU faculty of preliminary studies told future students about preliminary courses that began on October 3. University entrants were congratulated by the deans of all faculties, all the guests were presented an interesting concert performed by ZNU students.
Future entrants were able to consult individually on subject of their future education and special character of different university faculties, to see class-rooms, computer classes and scientific laboratories of their future Alma mater.
