“Pedagogics Of Higher School” – Faculty Of Social Pedagogics And Psychology’s New Speciality

The apprenticeship is 1,5 years.

Both internal and distant courses are available.

The course can be taken by contract only.

Students will be taken in according to interview results.

The study starts of October 1, 2006.

Lecturers of higher education institutions of I-IV levels of accreditation, leaders of teaching and methodical, educational, teaching departments, heads of post-graduate study departments, heads of personnel departments, methodologists, directors and mentors of student’s hostels and other categories of specialists, including the reserve of leading personnel of higher education establishments, who have Bachelor or Specialist degree are invited for Master course.

Objects for lecturer of higher school’s activity:

·                    Higher education institutions of I-IV levels of accreditation;

·                    Regional agencies of science and education administration;

·                    Organizations and businesses, the activity of which is concerned with professional training of teaching and administrative staff.

They will be able to take up the posts of:

·                         Lecturer of higher educational institution;

·                         Assistant;

·                         Junior member of teaching or research staff;

·                         Methodologist of the first/top category;

·                         Head of school laboratory;

·                         Lecturer of higher educational institution as the leader of teaching and educational process.

The curriculum includes such disciplines as:

·                         Philosophy of Education;

·                         Pedagogy and Psychology of Higher School;

·                         Methodology of Scientific and Educational Researches;

·                         Social and Legal Bases of Higher Education Systems;

·                         Basics of Psychodiagnostics and Psychocorrection of Student’s Personality;

·                         Communicative Activities of a Lecturer;

·                         Pedagogical Skills of Higher School Lecturers, etc.

Items for study:

·                         Normative and legal issues, related to the functioning of the educational system of Ukraine;

·                         Issues on standardizing, licensing and accreditation of educational institutions;

·                         Actual problems of Bologna Process and credit-module system teaching of basic psychological and pedagogical disciplines;

·                         Fundamental basics of Pedagogy and Psychology; basic progress, modern tendencies and development of pedagogical and psychological disciplines;

·                         Modern development trends of teaching and education psychology in new social and political and economic conditions;

·                         Usage of innovative pedagogic and computer technologies in teaching and education process in Higher School;

·                         Basic development trends of national and foreign pedagogy of Higher School.
