Students from non-linguistic faculties of ZNU took part in Round 1 of All-Ukrainian Student Foreign Languages Contest held in March. It included two languages – French and German – and consisted of an auding, reviewing authentic text, writing an essay and an interview with contest jury.
All the winners have shown high level of foreign language knowledge, according to Yevgeniya MOSKALENKO, Head of the Jury, Head of the Chair of German and Romanic Languages of ZNU. First-year student of the Faculty of Law Kyrylo ZINCHENKO was the best in French language contest, while Sergiy BLYZNYAKOV (the Faculty of History, 2nd year) was runner-up and Yuliya ZHOGLOVA (the Faculty of Biology, 1st year) took the third place. Ilona ANDREYEVA (the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology, 1st year) is the winner in German language contest, Inna CHERKASOVA (the Faculty of Economics, 2nd year) was the second and Tetyana LARINA (the Faculty of Sociology and Governing, 1st year) finished third.
