The victory of students of ZNU in the regional tour of the international contest

In Zaporizhzhya National University the regional tour of the 6-th International Contest of Experts of the Ukrainian language to the name of Petro Jatsik was held. It passed in two nominations: «For Students of Philological Faculties» and «For Students of Unphilological Faculties». In both the representatives of our University won.

Among the participants of competitions for the students of philological faculties the first place took the fourth-year student of the philological faculty Igor Isaev (scientific guide - an associate professor of the chair of the Ukrainian language Liudmila Kucherenko). The  second place won the student of Berdyans'k State Pedagogocal University Natalija Druzenko, and the third - Natalia Pichakhchi (Melitopol' State Pedagogical university).

In contest for the students of unphilological faculties won the student of the Physical Faculty of ZNU Juliya Prizhko (scientific guide - the lecturer of the chair of Ukrainian sciences Volodimir Tkachuk),the second was Rostislav Stepanchuk (student of the speciality «Marketing» (Zaporizhzhya National TechnicalUniversity) and third became Ganna Kovalenko (the faculty of Governing of GU "ZIDMU").

The representatives from ZNU - the associate rector in educative work, associate professor Olexandr Bondar, and from Regional State Administration - Galina Denisova stressed the importance of such actions for the national renaissance of our country and wished success for all students who gained the victory.

Commenting the level of conduct of this contest and its results, the dean of the philological faculty, associate professor Tamara Khom'yak emphasized, that for the first time in All-ukrainian tour that would be held on January, 27 of the following year, our region in both nominations would be represented by the students of our university and wuold surely cope with this task worthily.
