Due to support of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration the work in opening of Regional educative-scientific-industrial center «Еcology» in Zaporizhzhya National University at the Biological Faculty was begun.
The Biological Faculty has a powerful scientific potential in ecologic domain: valuable equipment, several special laboratories and the most important - well-known and talented scientists-ecologists, that is why it was decided to open that center.
The main reason for such initiative became the complicated ecologic situation in the city. The main task for the center can become conduction of various explorations, consultant's investigations, and analysis of state of this or that problematic ecoregions.
