ZNU Lawyers gave a lecture American Lawyer

On May 25 within the limits of the "Justice Fair" 4th year students of the Faculty of Law ZNU listened to the video lecture of international experts on judicial reform, law professor of the University Uillemet (Oregon, USA), Gilbert Paul Carrasco on "What 'equality before the law' "?!".

The event was a continuation of a series of lectures UCU «Rule of Law Lecture Series», dealing with current challenges and problems in the field of rule of law, justice and fairness. Lecture held at the conference hall of the Ukrainian Catholic University, which is working with the US Agency for International Development USAID Ukraine. After the speeches everyone could ask Gilbert Paul Carrasco, including - online. Lecture held in English with simultaneous translation software.
Listen to her representatives had an opportunity to professional legal environment, academics, law students and all those interested in the rule of law and reform of the legal system in Ukraine.
Holding this event in Zaporizhzhya National University was made possible due to the initiative of the Dean of the Law Faculty Tetiana Kolomoiets and close cooperation of our university law faculty of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), which operates in Ukraine in October 2011 and is funding the project "Justice Fair".
It should be noted that the project "Justice Fair" in cooperation with the Government of Ukraine and civil society supports the improvement of key legislation to complete the judicial reform, improve judicial practice and procedures to a more effective, accountable and transparent judiciary. In addition, the project promotes dialogue between society and the courts for improving access to justice.
Representatives of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law of ZNU expressed the hope that the students participate in such events contribute to deepening their knowledge, the formation of scientific outlook of students and strengthening its legal interest in science in general.
