At the Faculty of Foreign Languages started its work School Summer Camp

Students of our university continues "hot" time - examinations. But, of course, each of them motivated by the thought of summer vacation, holidays. However, our students are trying to organize their vacation time not only pleasant but also useful introduction to a variety of internships, summer schools, workshops. Some of them not for only their knowledge but also for their first steps in professional activities. Not remain aside also students of the faculty, which this summer will work as English language teachers in summer school camps in Zaporizhzhya.

On 2nd of June held the first master class for students in preparation for the work in language camps. It should be noted that the administration of our city is the second time that appeals to the guidance of the faculty for providing volunteers to work with students during school summer holidays. This year the 2nd and 3rd years students studying English as a first and second foreign language, expressed a desire to try themselves in the professional sphere.
The work of the first lesson began with an appeal to the audience by Deputy Dean for Studies Kateryna Vasylyna, who talked about a letter of the city administration and some organizational issues of this type of work.
The discussion continued teacher of Ukraine and Swiss Centre "English for Kids" of Zaporizhzhya National University Varvara Petrosova, who spoke about the peculiarities of teaching English language of primary school children.
Head School Summer Camp, Associate Professor of teaching a second foreign language Olha Kanibolotska provides students with practical advices, answered on questions of methodical character. Olha Anatolivna focused attention on group of Summer Camp in one of the social networks, where future teachers can find useful information: Examples of exercises, games and interactive tasks, Flashcards, Mind maps for learning vocabulary, video and audio materials and links to useful online resources.
We wish to volunteers a successful of professional realization and we are looking forward to interesting stories about impressions!
