“The left bank” – that was the name of a tour of Sergij Zhadan, Iuriy Andrukhovich and Liubko Deresh, modern cult Ukrainian authors by the large cities of Eastern Ukraine: Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovs’k, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Lugansk.
In every city they gathered full audiences and our university did not become exception. All willing to converse with their idols, to listen to works in their execution and to get autographs gathered in the 50-th room of the first building. It was also full of representatives of different local mass media, attracted by outstanding guests of the university.
The writers presented their new joint book – “Three-cylinder engine of love” with early army stories by Iuriy Andrukhovich, new essays by Liubko Deresh and S.Zhadan and presented it as memento to readers in memory of meeting with favorite authors. Still the main aim was not this presentation, but free communication with readers.
