Today, February 27, in the framework of the visit of Zaporizhzhya National University by the Trade Commissioner of the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine Mr. Clinton Martin, there was held his meeting with the students of different faculties of the University.
So, the students of the Faculties of Economics, History, Social Sciences and Administration and Foreign Languages attended a lecture devoted to the informal presentation of cooperation between Canada and Ukraine in the field of trade. Also, the lecture was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics Alla Cherep and the Head of the Department of International Relations Nataliya Kostenko, who was a moderator of the meeting.
At the beginning Mr. Clinton Martin demonstrated the presentation that showed all the historical, geographical, cultural, natural, linguistic, political and economic features of the country, the development of industry. So, the guest told about the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada and the traditions which were introduced by the Ukrainians in Canada, as well as the possibility of doing business in Canada by the Ukrainian campaigns, the cooperation between the Ukrainian and Canadian campaigns in the field of IT-technology, science, production, construction, trade in goods, mainly, the possibility of export of Ukrainian agricultural products. He also explained the features and ways of promoting export of Ukrainian campaigns in the European market and in Canada. In his opinion, the young generation that has the new, unique and innovative ideas and speaks languages can move the country and the economy forward.
During the meeting, which was held in an informal live format, the students had the opportunity to ask all their questions. Thus, they were interested in the possibilities of cooperation between Ukraine and Canada in the economic sector and the ways of doing business in Canada.
