It was already the second year, when the Scientific students’ union of Zaporizhzhya national university conducts the round table “AIDS: view into future” to the World-wide day of fight with AIDS. Young scientists of our university try not only to draw attention of society, in particular, of their contemporaries and lecturers, to epidemiological threat in country, but to find a new view, on this investigated and notorious problem.
This year the round table gathered not only representatives of all faculties and honorary guests from administration of the University, but also heads and members of social organizations – “Red Cross”, municipal center of social services in problems of family, children and youth, organization of LZHV (People, who Live with virus of AIDS).
Discussion of the problem of AIDS became all-round and active, such aspects were enlightened: role of modern literature in solution of problem of amplification of the serious illness, topic of AIDS students’ mass media, law protection of people infected with AIDS, process of development of desease from medical and biological viewpoint, peculiarities of AIDS prevention in orphanages. There was also presented a little video, dedicated to attitude to people with AIDS in our society, made by the student of the faculty of journalism.
