In ZNU the seminar «Political, economic and safety advantages of Euro Atlantic integration of Ukraine: regional rate» was held, initiated by Public League Ukraine-NATO.
To participate in the meeting Olexandr Makobry, the representative of National center in problems of Euro Atlantic integration of Ukraine, Oleg Kokoshinsky, the vice-president of Atlantic council of Ukraine, Svitlana Yakimenko, the head of the Department of European integration of Zaporizhzhya regional state administration, Sergij Jerja, the head of the Public League Ukraine-NATO, the first associate rector of ZNU Fedir Turchenko, and also students and lecturing staff of the university, directors of schools of district centers of Zaporizhzhya region, representatives of social organizations and mass media.
At the end of the seminar its participants watched documentary film about countries of Eastern Europe, which had entered NATO recently. Creative staff of the project tried to stress all advantages of Euro Atlantic integration of Ukraine, and in such a way - to overbear stereotypes and scruples concerning Ukraine’s entering NATO.
