On February 24 several hundreds of young scientists – school graduates of Zaporizhzhya region - came to Zaporizhzhya national university in order to take part in the third tour of the second regional stage of Little academy of sciences.
This year historic-geographic department of Little academy of Zaporizhzhya region celebrated its tenth jubilee. Its popularity among pupils is confirmed with such indexes: to participate in this tour in the section «History of Ukraine» wished 62 school graduates, «Regional history and study» - 51 school graduates, «Geography and biology» - 39 young scientists, and in the section of «Ethnology» - 15 participants.
This year the regional team demonstrated the best achievements on the state level in such directions: scientific and technological, physics-mathematical and economic, chemistry-biological. So the best pupils were awarded with brevets. Besides them, some best scientific guides were also awarded with brevets of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine.
The number of participants of that session of sections was really great: over 150 pupils represented their works in different branches of chemistry and biology, in sections of calculating machines and informatics more than thirty participants took part.
