Enormous event with the presentation of the alley of umbrellas is being prepared to the beginning of the educational year in ZNU (Photo gallery)
The festive event in occasion of the beginning of the new educational year in Zaporizhzhia national university and College of Commerce will take place 31 August on the square between the second and sixth academic building. The first lectures will start on Monday, 3 September. Devotion to the students in the College of Commerce will be held 30 August at 9 am in front of the second academic building.
The freshmen are anticipating to this day and strive to start an adult life and study in the university they desired to enter in. The students of the senior courses also wait for the possibility to meet their friends and start new educational year which will get them new knowledge, chance to develop professional competency, continue their self-development, take part in interesting events and etc.
The schedule of the program: 8:30 am - acquaintance with the university; 9:30 am – meeting with the rector of the university, and congratulation from the rector of ZNU, professor Mykola Frolov. There are also will be held the flash mob “vyshyvanka”. The hosts of this event – representatives of the Center of Culture have announced the slogan of the holiday: “Vyshyvanka is your genetic code”! Do you wear vyshyvanka? Receive a gift from ZNU! What is more, everyone will have an opportunity to meet friends, visit morning disco, know more about the university, dean, and already native faculties.
“Devotion to the students”, excursions in the student camp are prepared specially for the freshmen. Highlight of the holiday is original, creative, and endless photo zones. To the traditional photo zones will be added the new ones such as “Student ticket”, and marvelous “Alley of umbrellas”.
The professors and work staff of ZNU make plenty of efforts to make educational year 2018-2019 successful for the university and full of new achievements. The Centre of Culture prepares excited and creative culture program. The representatives of the every faculty and colleges will meet the enrollers with the useful excursions and unforgettable acquaintances.
