The German city of Brandenburg hosted the European Boat Racing Championship "Dragon" among young men, juniors, youth and adults. Almost one and a half thousand athletes from 18 countries took part in the competitions, 81 of them were representing Ukraine.
Two athletes were representing our national team on this championship. One of them was from Enerhodar, the student of Zaporizhzhia national university, Dmytro Kriazh, and a student of the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology (Dnipro town) Denis Davydov.
They became champions of Europe in U24 youth competitions, a small boat (10) open - at distances of 200, 500 and 1000 m. On a standard (20) boat mixed - distances of 1000 and 2000 m, and among adults on a standard (20) boat premiers open - a distance of 500 m. In the open class, the boat standard (20) the athletes took the second place on the 200-meter bench. After receiving 31 sets of medals, Ukrainian athletes took the second place.
