Acceptance of documents for postgraduate course and doctoral studies in Zaporizhzhia national university is continuing. It should be mentioned that a new model of training of highly qualified scientific workers has been introduced in Ukraine since 2016. From now, doctors of philosophy (PhD) are trained instead of Candidates of Sciences. According to the European tradition, applicants of the PhD degree become applicants of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education. The model of training of scientific workers is also significantly changing. The 4-year period of education is now accompanied by a powerful educational component concentrated on gaining profound knowledge in the specialty, forming language competencies (preparation for the passing of international language tests), research skills (academic writing, publishing articles in publications included in the international sci-tech science databases and Web of Science, work on projects, participation in grant programs), etc.
23 specialties have been licensed in the postgraduate study of the Zaporizhzhia national university, and 19 specialties have been opened in the doctoral program. Education in postgraduate and doctoral studies is carried out at the expense of the state budget and at the expense of individuals and legal entities.
Documents for admission to postgraduate and doctoral studies are accepted from August 6 to September 14, 2018 by the address: Zaporizhzhia national university, fourth academic building, Dniprovska, 33-A, aud. 317, department of postgraduate and doctoral studies. Enrollment will begin from October 1, 2018
