The students and professors of our university attended the training of the speaker and the head of the public organization «"Center for Mediation and Accounting "Point of View"», director of the "Mirage" audit firm Larysa Tsereteli on Wednesday, October 3 as part of the business incubator of the Faculty of Economics of Zaporizhzhia national university.

Larysa Tsereteli made a presentation on the algorithm and the nuances of writing grant applications.  In fact, considerable practical experience of the project activity gave her the opportunity to identify typical mistakes, often made by novice grantees, and accordingly to work out recommendations on how to prevent these mistakes when submitting grant applications.  The effectiveness of grant activities can only be ensured if this process is continuous and uninterrupted.  The success of a grant activity is of course determined by the quality of the execution of the documentation for receiving grant funding, also by the validity of the project information provided in the application, and the perseverance of those who aim to obtain funding for the implementation of certain projects.  For example, out of twenty applications submitted, only one can attract the attention of the grantor ... or it may not.

At the beginning of the meeting, the speaker conducted a small educational program so that everyone could understand the special terminology, for example, what grants are in general, grant programs, how the activity of an enterprise differs from the functioning of non-profit organizations.  Attention was also focused on the practical importance of the classification of grants (program grants, development grants) and identified main advantages as well as disadvantages of grants.

The speaker outlined the key features of the project, after which she elaborated on the algorithm and the main components of the grant application.  Each statement was accompanied by examples from her own experience, so the information was perceived by the audience quite easily.

At the end of the meeting, Larysa Tsereteli provided the audience with information about Internet resources where you can search for some grants, including educational grants for students.  The next meeting with professors and students should take place in a few weeks and will be devoted to an effective way of resolving disputes in all spheres of public life, including business, through mediation.
