The project “Bilrgerbeteiligung in Oberhausen und Saporishja” continues for the second year and provides German-Ukrainian cooperation in the scientific and applied areas. Representatives of Zaporizhzhia national university actively participate in this project. The working group of the project includes the vice-rector for scientific work, professor Hennadii Vasylchuk and the Head of the Department of Civil Law, professor Dmytro Yarmolenko.
The project provides a number of activities in various areas in Germany and Zaporizhzhia. In particular, professor Dmytro Yarmolenko, together with representatives of the German side, visited “Zaporizhstal” OJSC on October 5. This event was made possible owing to the support of the combine management and personally owing to the chairman of the Youth Organization of the combine, Serhii Ilchenko.
During their stay, the guests have met with the workers, saw all the stages of converting iron ore into the finished products, learned about the features of the social protection of workers, etc.
The German guests expressed their admiration for the possibilities of self-realization of working youth at the metallurgical combine, the organization of working and rest conditions, mentioning that these conditions not only meet European standards, but, in some aspects, exceed them.
At the end, the guests have met with graduates of the Faculty of Law of ZNU, who work in “Zaporizhstal” OJSC. The latter conveyed sincere thanks and congratulations to the professors’ team of the Faculty of Law and personally to the dean, professor Tetiana Kolomoiets.
