The World Kickboxing Championship in the WTKA section was held in the city of Marina di Carraro (Italy) from October 31 to November 4. Zaporizhzhia region during these competitions was represented by a first-year student of the specialty “Physical education and sport” of the College of Economics and Law of ZNU Danyil Kovalov.
The tournament was attended by more than 4,500 participants from 73 countries of the world. Danyil won 2 silver medals in the categories of Low kick light and K-1. Thus, our athlete in his weight category (69 kg) in the style of Light Сontact became the World Champion. The team of the College of Economics and Law congratulates the athlete and his coach and wishes them further success in their studies and sports!
