That days attache in questions of lecturing the English language of the Ambassy of United states of America in Ukraine Tomas Santos and alternate attache in questions of education and culture Karen Robly visited Zaporizhzhya national university. The aim of their visit was discussion of conditions of collaboration between Ambassy of USA in Ukraine and our university.
That time two projects were discussed: opening of the Resource center on base of ZNU, and organisation of summer studioes for lecturers. And the greatest interest in their realisation was shown from the side of the faculty of journalism and the faculty of foreign philology. Organisation of the Resource center in our university would open great opportunities for collaboration with the establishments of the average link of education: any teacher of English of the region would be able to call at center, to get acquainted with necessary literature, to gain consultation from a regular lecturer, and in prospect - to become a participant of online conferences.
The meeting of Karen Robly with the dean of the faculty of journalism professor V.Manakin and with representatives of the faculty of sociology and management was fruitful as well. The most active participants of the meeting requested the topic for future summer classes - acquaintance of hearers of the summer institute with peculiarities of activity of American state managers, including their interaction with mass media.
