Taras Malchenko the student of ZNU is a bronze medalist of the European Championship among youth in taekwondo
The 2nd year student of the Faculty of Law of ZNU Taras Malchenko (coach - Andrii Yakovliev) became the bronze medalists of the European Championship among youth (under 21) in taekwondo. This championship, which took place in Warsaw (Poland) from November 6 to 11, gathered more than 700 strongest young athletes, champions of their countries.
Taras Malchenko spent 5 fights, 4 of which our student was confident. The first fight won the athlete from Cyprus with a score of 23: 3, the second fight did not leave a chance for the Greek athlete, whom Taras defeated with a score of 27: 6. The third fight beat a Spaniard with a score of 14: 6. A student of ZNU won a battle for a medal Belarus 30:10. Unfortunately, in the semifinals he lost to an athlete from Ukraine with a minimum gap of 23:26. As a result, Taras has a bronze medal at the European Championship.
Taras Malchenko is grateful to Tetiana Kolomoiets, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, and to all the professors who support him in building a sports career and at the same time successful training in ZNU.
