The 9th Greenwich All-Ukrainian Competition in English, organized by the “Uclever” Center for Creative Initiatives (Kyiv), was held on the College of economics and Law. Participation in the intellectual competition agreed to accept 60 students of I-II courses of all specialties.
For an hour, students under the guidance of English professors (Myrhorod A.M. and Kalashnyk Ya.V.) performed test tasks in order to reveal the level of English proficiency. On the same day, the response forms were sent to Kyiv for verification by independent experts. Subsequently, the task of the competition handed over to students. Together with the professors, they will now be able to analyze them already in the classroom. Traditionally, winners of the competition will be awarded with gifts and certificates in the spring.
Now the college continues to register for the X All-Ukrainian competition of Ukrainian studies "Patriot", conducted by the same organization. You can apply for the competition until December 19 by contacting your Ukrainian language professor. The competition itself will be held on February 21, 2019 on the Day of Protection of the Native Language. The terms of the meeting and last year’s tasks can be found at this link: http://www.uclever.com/index.php/menupatriot/2019
We are convinced that such language tests will help not only to reveal the linguistic potential, but also to better prepare for State final examination.
